Since Pages v5.6.1 likely does not meet all of the Word 2013 document format specifications, hoping for perfection in opening exported Word. If the footnotes look right in Pages v5.6.1, and are microscopic in Word 15.21.1, your only Pages workaround is to create a new Footnote paragraph style with a larger font size, and hope that Apple has not hard-coded 6pt in the footnote translation process. No Apple Pages product is a clone of Microsoft Word, and Apple does not guarantee the quality of document translation when exporting to Word formats. Help! Any ideas would be much appreciated!

The only solution I can think of would be, in the exported Word document, to first copy the text from the footnote, then delete the footnote in the text, then select the footnote (using the Insert->Footnote command) to re-add the footnote, then paste the copied text back into the text box at the bottom of the page. they appear in the in-text citation superscripted in Word (as they should), but the font is so tiny that it's almost impossible to see.
